Abstract Submission

Before starting the submission process, please check the important submission guidelines and deadlines below:

Submission guidelines:

The number of words of the abstract is limited to 250 (excluding title, authors and affiliations)

· The title must not exceed 15 words

· Authors and affiliations have to be included

· Please underline the presenter

· Please do not include figures or references

· Font style: Arial, 11 point, 1.15 spacing

· Follow the template: Introduction, Methods, Results, Interpretation

· Accepted format is Word or Pdf document

Prizes:

We will have several prizes for PhD students and early career researchers (<10 years from PhD, excluding career breaks) for oral presentations and posters. Please state whether you are a PhD student or early career researcher when you submit your abstract in this link: SGGD 2026 Abstract Submission.

Deadlines:

· Abstract submissions open : Wednesday 26th of November 2025

· Abstract submission closing date : Monday 2nd of March 2026, 5 pm GMT+1

You will be notified approximately 2 weeks after the deadline whether your abstract has been accepted for poster or oral presentation.
